This summer MSU is cleaning the limestone(?) on the Natural Science Building. Before they get to the main entrance I wanted to capture the “electric smoke” stains.Am not sure how these form.
My theory has something to do with the heat of lamps causes (slightly acidic) rain/snow to react more with the stone … lots of hand waving … darker stones.
